The forest damage upgrade. Always wondered how much damage you, or your dinos, actually do? Find out now by using the new ARK: Survival Evolved Damage Calculator. With the damage calculator you are able to input the melee damage of dinos and humans to see how it will increase the damage output. Furthermore, you can select from different weapons to see how they increase your damage and even how much torpor they will add.

Do mind that different settings can affect the same result. If your stats are set to insane dmg for tames, player, or high quality tools, then the harvest will be more. The harvest amount ties in with harvest health (how many dmg before tree or node breaks) and resource respawn rate (how fast the resource grows back). Just a note, this is just the first pass of fliers and first pass of UI improvements. There will be more time for tweaks. Just bear with us:). I understand there are going to be some changes you dislike, some changes you like - let's see how this goes for a few days and we'll be ready to iterate!

I'm lvl 51 now playing single player on the Ark original map and trying to find a Pteranodon to tame but every time I shoot one with a tranq arrow, I kill it straight away with one shot. I even tried downloading the advanced tranq arrow mod (higher tranq but lower damage) but even those kill it with one shot. Even shooting it with a catapult kills it immediately, this is getting stupid. Another tip most dont even know that when the gas bag is inflated it take 80% reduced damage. And with a saddle that can add lets say 50 armor to it this thing becomes a super solar for any turrit tower you may encounter.also keep in mind you lose air with the amount of damage you take but you can continue to suck in air.
